ABUS RAW ILS is a platform for pilots and non-pilots to practice flying a A/THR engaged raw data ILS on a flight display similar to that used in modern airliners. The simulation starts with a CONFIG FULL configuration and A/THR is engaged. No change in config is available during the approach and A/THR cannot be disconnected. The simulation ends when an out of tolerance limit is reached, the minima is achieved or 7 seconds after GA is selected. The environmental and ILS data can be modified. A basic GA (gear and single stage flap retraction) can be initiated once the simulation passes below the GA acceleration altitude.
