RealShaker brings one of the most intuitive musical instruments to your mobile device. Explore the dynamics and physicality of a real shaker as you move, tilt, and shake your device. Every movement of the device will generate a sound. As you practice, you can learn to control the timing, the loudness and softness, and the sharpness or smoothness of the sound. RealShaker can run in the background, allowing you to play along with your music and practice your shaker technique.

The creation of this app was driven by a love of music, sound, and physics. The idea was born while attending a Brazilian music and dance camp in the middle of the forest in California. Tested with samba at 145 bpm!

RealShaker requires iPhone 5C or better, and plays with the best responsiveness on iPhone 5S or better.
