The ERV travel & care app is operated by the travel insurance company ERGO Reiseversicherung (former: ERV - Europäische Reiseversicherung) and GWS (Global Warning System). It is a GPS-based app, which runs continuously in the background and can significantly reduce battery life. However, due to intelligent GPS restriction, this effect is reduced to a minimum.
