Let Hoboken Walks introduce you to Hoboken's rich cultural history and past. Whether you are new to town, just visiting, or a current resident wanting to discover more about your home's richness, take out Hoboken Walks for a walk around town.

We think making a history tour is important because many citizens don't know about their local history. Knowing local history helps us understand the present state of our town; why we live here, how we got here, and how our community has changed. Also it helps us improve our judgment and decisions about the future. As you know - "he who knows the past controls the future". You can also see how the community is changing and has evolved over time. We want to help you understand and appreciate the history of our town. Most of all knowing local history can inspire people to be proud of their community.

We, three girl scouts from Troop 12041, created these walks as part of our project to help others learn about our town. We hope you can rediscover a little bit about Hoboken through our themed walks and Fun Facts cards.
