Once kids are familiar with the letters of the alphabet, they can start to read and build words. The first step is consonant-vowel-consonant words and they are the focus of this great app.

Children will learn and practice the skills needed to master CVC words. After new words are introduced, the initial sound is learnt first followed by the middle vowel and ending sound.

As the learner becomes more familiar, the difficulty increases slightly so children go from simple matching games up to needing to read or choose whole words.

A small in-app-purchase is required to unlock all of the 75 words. The first few are available as a bit of a trial.
