Tappa has been set up by partners with a nearly 140 year history in the London Taxi business, going back to 1880 when our first family member came to London and completed the famous Knowledge of London before heading off to work with a horse and a Hansom Cab. (remembered in the Hansom Cab pub on Earls Court Road). The family of the partners drove the first motor cabs, had the first cab in London with power steering, were the first in London to accept credit cards in the cab in 1986 and will soon be plying for hire in the very latest Electric cabs. Download and install the Tappa Driver App, sign up and we'll find you the customers.
Open the app, follow the straightforward instructions, and we’ll do the rest. You’ll be ready to hit the road the same day! We will increase your income by increasing the time you spend with passengers and decrease the empty time. We will launch with powerful social media marketing, in cab marketing and local events. Good though that is in the end it's the service our customers recieve that makes them loyal customers and that's down to having enough cabs so that we can cover the work but still take a break.
