The Conventional VR Guide to Chicago is a location based virtual guide to the City of Chicago.

The apps primary purpose is to help the traveler who is visiting Chicago for a conference at the McCormick Place. There is a landing page that details the attractions (hotels, restaurants) surrounding the McCormick convention center, sorted by distance. Each attraction has a Virtual Tour with additional detail so the user can have additional information before they go to Chicago.

Additionally, the app has additional information about Chicago as a whole. We profiled the hotels, restaurants and entertainment in the city, each with a separate landing page. Each attraction has detail and a virtual simulation so you can see what the hotel or restaurant looks like inside before you reserve.

About McCormick Place:

McCormick Place is the largest convention center in North America. It consists of four interconnected buildings and one indoor arena sited on and near the shore of Lake Michigan, about 2 mi (3.2 km) south of downtown Chicago, Illinois, United States. McCormick Place hosts numerous trade shows and meetings.
