Using Visible Light Communication technology, Geist’s Upgradeable line of PDUs optically transmit information to your handheld device providing easy, secure, and instant access to data at the cabinet or rack.

The VLC function encodes information into specially designed 2D barcode and streams them between the LED display and the camera on a smartphone, allowing users to "scan" a PDU and populate the unit's status and activity in an organized, legible format over the Vertiv App.
