InfoSMART xTrack App is for construction site inspector to review progress, submit and close-out defect requests. It is one of the two mobile applications of InfoSMART xTrack– Engaged Quality Assurance & Progress Tracking Management Solution. InfoSMART xTrack is a comprehensive construction site progress and defect management solution which integrates all stakeholders with one single and accessible platform to manage the on-site work quality, progress and defect activities. InfoSMART xTrack composes the following originally developed key components:
- Digital Landmark: a matchbox size location sensor with weather proof casing being installed at site ensuring services for years
- xTrack App (this app): a mobile app specific for inspector to review progress, submit defect requests and close-out defect requests
- xTrack Doer App: a mobile app specific for contractor to review, update and demand for closing the defect requests assigned to him
- xTrack Cloud Platform: a web-based platform to manage the progress and defect activities
InfoSMART xTrack App interacts closely with the digital landmarks nearby to record the corresponding location information which has already pre-assigned to the landmark. In this way, the inspector does not need to do any manual entering or address marking and avoid any mistaken. Once the inspector moves to another location and InfoSMART xTrack App detects another digital landmarks, the location information AUTOMATICALLY change, without any intervention from the inspector.
