As with all Community Groups, 99.1 SmartFM was born from a desire to see a small yet dynamic Community Radio Station giving listeners access to local information, great programming and Community group accessibility to air time.

The station is run by an enthusiastic band of volunteers who are always on the lookout for members and groups needing air time.
