Calculate the greenwood mass of a log section.
Choose the kind of tree, enter the length in meters, the diameter at the end in centimetres and the diameter at the cut end in centimetres and press Calculate.
The result is an estimated mass based on median wood density for each given species. The mass can vary because of climatic variations, growth conditions and irregularities in log shape. However, the calculation is based on data provided by UK HSE and includes a wide selection of European trees.
We're using the latest technology from Apple so you'll need at least iOS 13.
