The service connects individuals with a visual impairment, or an inability to access print material, to their communities through broadcasting of local news, information, and entertainment with exclusive programs and content. The app was developed through a collaboration between Audio Journal and Worcester Polytechnic Institute.

This update introduces new media player screens, with improved controls for archived programs, including playback speed and skip times. Also, search by voice now uses Apple's Dictate feature. This update also broadens the search capabilities, with improved search results. Finally, various bug fixes were implemented.
