This simple to use app will replace your paper and spreadsheet versions of construction Near Miss reports. You can even capture a picture of the scene. (We recommend that no people be captured in the photos.) Allowing our app to use your GPS location automatically enters your Near Miss site location into the saved reports (see also below). You must be logged into your iCloud account with an active internet connection in order to use this app. This allows you to see your Near Miss entries across all of your devices.

This app is perfect for any worker or supervisor on any construction site.

Tap on the hard hat to enter the Entry screen. From here, you can tap to take a picture and select the direction you were facing. From there, the next nine fields are required in order to save the report. The time and date are captured automatically. Then, the optional fields follow. Here you enter the location of the Near Miss (and the lat/long are captured automatically). Then select the correct conditions in the next few fields. Space is also given to enter a long description and corrective actions taken. If you elect to not select choices in the optional fields, the default values will be saved. Once saved, you will be taken back to the Home screen.

Tap on the warning sign to see Thumbnails of your reports saved. These are small, abbreviated snapshots to remind you of what was entered previously.

Tap on a Thumbnail to see that full Report. From there, you can tap on your supervisor's phone number to call them right from the app (from an iPhone). You can also tap on the share button in the upper right hand corner to email your Report to your supervisor or safety supervisor. This requires that your Apple native email be set up.
