CoronaCheck is the official Dutch test declaration app developed by the Ministry of Health, Welfare and Sport. This digital tool allows access to certain social, cultural and sports locations in the Netherlands. But only if you didn’t have coronavirus at the time of testing.
How does the app work?
Important: first book an appointment for a corona test at a test location.
- Retrieve your test results with the app
When your tests results are available, you retrieve them with the app by entering the code provided by the test location.
- Convert your test results into a QR code
The app converts your negative test results into a QR code. This QR code only holds information on if and when you’ve tested negative.
- Show your QR code at the entrance
Your QR code proves you didn’t have coronavirus at the time of testing and is scanned at the entrance.
- Test results are valid for 40 hours
Negative test results are valid for 40 hours after the time of testing. Make sure your QR code is scanned at the entrance within that time frame. When your test declaration expires, the QR code automatically disappears from the app. Need a new QR code? Simply take another test.
