Get outdoors this winter and have fun exploring areas of Saint John, Quispamsis and Rothesay municipalities and collect gems to create and outfit your new snowman buddy! After you complete your buddy, be sure to pose and take a picture with them and share it using our AR camera!

How to Play:
This is a self-guided, scavenger hunt style game for you to play with your family and/or friends. It is available for FREE from the communities of Saint John, Quispamsis and Rothesay New Brunswick. Get out and explore the community and while you are at each checkpoint looking for treasure, why not participate in winter activities like hiking, skating, snowshoeing, sliding, etc.

To play - download the app then register for an account (or play as a guest but we unfortunately cannot award the prize to a guest as we will not have your contact information in that case). Next, you will be brought to the map showing all 30 checkpoint locations! Visit as many as you can throughout the months of February and March 2021. Each checkpoint has 9 gems hidden around the area. A compass will help you find the virtual gems. After collecting enough gems, you will be able to buy hats, scarves, faces and noses for your virtual snowman, build him and take a photo standing with him. Don't forget to share your photo with #fundywinterfest!
