Prudent Expenses is a robust expense recording app for iOS, catering to busy people on the go, parents with family expenses and individuals looking to quickly record their daily expenses.
PRIVACY FIRST POLICY
Prudent Expenses is designed with data privacy in mind. No data is stored in any cloud. Prudent Expenses does not collect any usage analytics data at all. You can use Prudent Analytics while completely offline.
* You can still export expenses data in text format from Prudent Expenses to other apps or to store it securely at your own discretion.
HOW TO USE
Prudent Expenses is designed as the fastest way to enter expenses that can be exported to Ledger journals that can then be used for textual storage of your expenses or used in conjunction with the Prudent desktop app to support your holistic personal finance analysis and planning. It can also be used as a standalone app in everyday situations, for events and festivities or while travelling on holiday.
The minimalist design is easy to understand. You should start a fresh expense recording:
1) Every month if you're using it to track monthly expenses.
2) To track your expenses for special events such as Chinese New Year for example.
3) When on holiday, you can record all your expenses quickly.
To start a fresh expense recording, you can easily tap on the "Export & Delete All" button on the Expenses screen.
DESIGNED FOR YOU
Prudent Expenses offers curated expense categories that had been designed to maximize coverage while reducing category clutter.
Actual usage is designed with shortest taps to record in mind.
The entry pad is practical without requiring you to tap 00s for decimals.
The Expenses are summed by category to give you a sense of how much you'd spent without clunky graphics on a mobile screen (you can still visualize with Prudent on Desktop).
