The app is a tool to help laser and intense pulsed light users carry out a Fitzpatrick Skin Typing consultation with their clients.

This app is aimed primarily at users based in the UK and Europe as the laser/IPL safety guidelines and standards in the app refer to protocols predominantly used in that region. However, users in other countries may find this app useful especially if laser and intense light source regulations are similar to the UK such as in Australia and New Zealand.

In use, after entering the client's ID the practitioner can quickly select the client's characteristics using the various "pickers" and "sliders" presented on a series of screens. 

A confirmatory signature is captured from the client using their finger on the final entry screen prior to the creation of the report.

The on-screen report not only shows the client's deduced Fitzpatrick Skin Type, it also displays warnings and comments related to the use of a laser or IPL on the client's skin type. 

The digital report includes all the client declarations including their signature. This report can be exported and stored as an electronic client record.

This is an "In App Purchase" application that requires users to sign up for a low cost monthly or annual subscription in order to start a 2 week free trial. The subscription can of course be cancelled by the user at any time.
