ISO 9001 certified system providing Molecular Diagnosis (MD) for Venezuelan hospitals. It is able to provide MD for cancer and HIV patients nation wide. The purpose of this program is to contribute to a better healthcare system in developing countries, where health conditions are highly deficient. The Molecular Diagnostics (MD) program performs a unique service in the region that provides a free of cost, early, precise and personalized diagnostic service for various types of cancers and infectious diseases, mainly HIV, for children and adults treated in public hospitals. The MD program runs under strict regulations and guidelines, is certified by the international quality system 9001:2015 and approved by the bioethics committee of each partner hospital. This is the only program in Latin America diagnosing some genetic alterations, such as NMYC and MGMT, using molecular techniques.
