Whats’ the problem?
A whole country struggles. Lately, the price of fuel has been multiplied by 10 in Lebanon. The inhabitants are suffering from a severe health, social and economic crisis. Each day, they don't know if they will be able to go to work, to study or get medical care. Their life is a struggle.

What’s the alternative?
There is no public transportation in Lebanon. The inhabitants get around mainly by car, when they can afford it, otherwise by bus and cab provided by private companies. We want to provide a free and solidarity-based alternative.

What is bala benzine?
bala benzine is a carpooling app that fosters a sense of solidarity and community in Lebanon. The concept is simple:
- If you have a car, you can share your ride with a passenger.
- If you are a passenger, you can be connected with a driver and find a ride.
