A Day in the Leaf is a plant growing game that teaches about how plants grow and are beneficial to society and the environment. The player can choose from many different types of seeds they want to plant from different categories, including:
- Cereals
- Flowers
- Vegetables
- Fruits
The player will choose where they would like to make their fields, take care of the plant's needs while growing by giving them fertilizer and use pesticides when they need them. The player will then get experience and level up, unlocking newer plants to learn about and grow. They will also gain cash in order to buy more seeds and tools to keep their plants healthy, or expand their planting area.
