KeepaScore: Pickleball Edition is a kiosk-style score tracking application. It was originally designed to be used primarily on an iPad as a kiosk for score entry by players participating in pickleball events. It will, however, work just fine on an iPhone too.

When combined with the iOS native feature of Guided Access, you can lock both the app and the user interface into "kiosk mode". This allows your iPad/iPhone to be used by all players of a pickleball event for the perfect pickleball score keeper.

Of course, using a dedicated device, instead of your personal device is desirable. But, if you're playing with a group of players you trust then go for it! Even if you're the person hosting the event, you simply activate guided access, turn on kiosk mode in the app and tell each group of players which icon to use - or even let them decide for themselves.

Entering scores for a pickleball game is extremely easy for players. No more than eight taps are required. Players will have already been added to the event. So, there's no searching required. KeepaScore is an offline capable app. It does not require a connection to the Internet so collecting scores, even in the absence of cell coverage, is as simple as a few taps.

By using a single icon as a designation for a "play group", players can play as many games as necessary within that play group in order to facilitate whatever format is being played. KeepaScore does not dictate an event format, it simply collects scores and reports their statistics. You can use KeepaScore for any tournament type. Single or double elimination, round robin, waterfall, you name it.

By clicking the Stats button above the event player list, you can view event stats or play group (subgroup) stats. Each player in the event only needs to tap their own name, or another player's name, to view the current win/loss ratio and the outcome of each game played.

Keeping score for your pickleball events will not only become pain free, but actually fun. Players can always stay updated on how other players are doing within an event.

Player ranking features allow for more competitive and fair play. You can opt to use the included community ranking feature — explained within the app — or import data from popular ranking services like DUPR®.

All data collected can be output in multiple formats, including an event specific PDF which can be sent to event participants within minutes of closing out an event.
