Heroes to Heroes provides a combination of virtual and in-person curriculum-based journeys that help
combat veterans of all conflicts choose life. Moral injury, the damage done to one’s conscience or moral
compass when that person perpetrates, witnesses, or fails to prevent acts that transgress one’s own
moral beliefs, values, or ethical codes of conduct, leaves a person feeling as if they are no longer part of
the human race. Many feel as if there is no way back, no key to healing. With moral injury, the key is
often faith. Heroes to Heroes provides that key.
Each veteran who takes the 18-month journey is part of a team of five. The team is coached by a Heroes
to Heroes alum and requires written work, one-on-one meetings, and monthly team meetings. Teams
have private chats that run 24/7. The curriculum is designed to take our heroes from where they are
emotionally to community reintegration.
The Heroes to Heroes App will provide participants with the tools they need to participate in and
complete the program. All announcements and assignments will be posted in Heroes to Heroes and
meetings can be attended through the App as well.
