Sloka is a term derived from Sanksrit, a verse or phrase or proverb or hymn of praise dedicated to the God. Sloka usually forms the part of Hindu prayers and attributed to specific Gods and Goddesses. Sloka is a powerful prayer which conveys the dignity and the omnipotence of God, describing God in different forms and their celestial powers, when recited sincerely, they provide steady and peaceful mind.
