Areas by Coordinates is the 8th in a series of Civil Engineering and Surveying apps from MacReid software.

Areas by Coordinates is a very useful app for all Civil Engineers and Land Surveyors alike looking to calculate an area by inputting the coordinates that surround it.
It can also be used to calculate a cross sectional area in the vertical plane, and then use the areas found in this way in our Volumes app to calculate the volumes of Earthworks.

This program prompts you for the number of coordinates (a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 100), and the Easting and Northing of each, before automatically calculating the area contained within.
