This mobile application enables wearable device developers to collect the full suite of Valencell’s motion-tolerant biometrics, using Valencell’s patent-protected Benchmark® sensor system (www.valencell.com/patents) while simultaneously collecting data from comparative BLE-enabled heart rate monitors. This means that researchers can easily evaluate how well Valencell’s technology works against heart rate chest straps while also evaluating Valencell’s additional biometric parameters, such as RR-interval, pulse volume, and more. The data is streamed via BLE to the mobile application and stored in CSV format, making it straight-forward for researchers to run comparative statistics or even develop new biometric assessments using Valencell’s technology. To use this application to its fullest, you must have a Benchmark® sensor system (www.valencellbenchmark.com) as well as another BLE-enabled heart rate monitoring device. However, all that’s needed to use the app for basic data storage is a single BLE-enabled heart rate monitor.
