Othello is a strategy board game for two players. Play with friends or family, or against the computer.

There are only two counters on the board: black or white. The starting player chooses which colour to play.

The game's objective is to have the most discs of your colour on the checkerboard/ chequerboard at the end of play.

How to play:

Each player takes it in turns to place a disc/counter on the board. Any discs of the opponent's colour in a straight line or diagonal, surrounded (at each end) by the disc/colour just placed, are changed to the current player's colour. You can outflank your opponent's discs horizontally, diagonally or vertically.
