CPAN® Certification (Certified Post Anesthesia Nurse) is the gold standard for nurses caring for patients in the PACU and Postanesthesia Phase I.

CAPA® Certification (Certified Ambulatory Perianesthesia Nurse) is the gold standard for nurses caring for patients in the Preanesthesia Phase, Dave of Surgery, and Postanesthesia Phase II.
