Nowadays, the use of Jawi in writing essay or news in magazine or news paper and for other media including electronic media is decreasing. The use of Latin script is now more commonly used and become a major way of writing an essay in Malaysia. This will lead to the art of writing in Jawi script will gone in the Malay world. The lacks of written sources using Jawi script make teenagers no longer recognize this heritage. Because of that, an application of writing Jawi script should be developed. Looking at the tendency of children is more to modern technology, a mobile learning application that can be installed on smart phones will be developed.Jom Jawi is an application that develop to be use by children to learn Jawi. This application is allows users to learn:
• the letters together with pronunciation
• write the letters through the interaction with the touch screen
• read word write in Jawi’s script
• writing in Jawi’s script.
