Foroughat al-Zaman Farrokhzad (born January 29, 1963 - died February 15, 1965) is a contemporary Iranian poet. He published five books of poetry, which are notable examples of contemporary Persian poetry. Forough Farrokhzad died at the age of 32 in a car accident.
