In this program there is an incomplete number statement (for instance, 3 x 9 = ) at the top of the screen. The student clicks the second number (which will be blinking) and a row of nine apples will appear under the problem. The student now clicks the first number (now blinking) and two more rows of nine apples appear under the first row. There are now 3 rows of nine apples. The apples are numbered. The student is told by the program voice to click on the last apple, whose number is the answer. The number rises and completes the number statement.

If this is selected, then any and all of the numbers in this box will be used. To deselect this choice, click it again and selection will be ended.
Select Random Numbers

If this is selected, then the program will choose the numbers to be used in the problems.
Congratulatory Animation

This box is checked by default. This is available only for the “Training” mode. When this is checked, clicking the correct number invites a congratulatory animation. This animation runs for ten seconds. Click anywhere on the screen or press space bar to stop the congratulatory animation.
