This application was developed for patients after bariatric surgery, for example: a sleeve gastrectomy, Roux-en-Y gastric bypass, mini-bypass, duodenal switch, or other types of bypass surgery. The app allows vigilant patients to monitor their post-surgery recovery, through a series of multiple choice questions the patient can determine if they are likely to be experiencing a post-surgery complication, specifically a surgical leak. This will alert the patient of possible complications in time to contact their doctor.
