It is a non-profit civil entity, maintained by its members, having, among others, the following purposes: To study and develop programs of a social nature, carrying out essential activities aimed at dignifying the quality of life of its members (retirees, pensioners and active personnel) of the Petrobras System. Defend the principles of social security that led to the creation of Petros, as well as ensure its preservation. Represent and defend, where appropriate, the social security and assistance rights of its associates. Promote the development of social life, cultural and leisure activities, with the aim of keeping alive the principle of healthy companionship and encouraging the appreciation of each associate as a useful and participatory individual in the social environment.
