The Disabled Information Center in Mazara del Vallo is a planning and programming tool for innovative services to meet the social and social welfare needs of citizens.

The CID aims to enhance the offer of social services already existing in the network of local services, through a more consistent knowledge of the reality and phenomenological aspects of disability in the area.

The Disabled Information Center is aimed at citizens / users: interested people, disabled people, family members of people with disabilities, sector operators, teachers, students; other administrations: public administration desks and services for the disabled, ASP, social welfare consortia, mountain communities, schools, universities, employment centers; non - profit organizations: trade associations, social cooperatives, foundations, voluntary organizations; businesses; public and private companies.
The information documentation of the Disabled Information Center contains in its maps and manuals a cross-section of the real situation of disability in the reference territory and on the world of disability in general.
