Why does the Drinklytics request network access?
To collect and send some anonymous usage data to help improve the app, but only if you agree.

Why does the app request media/camera access?
Because you can decide to add one or more photos to your drinks, and you can do so by taking a new photo or selecting one from your gallery. I don't use this permission for anything else, but I'm trying to figure out if it's possible not to use it, because I myself pay attention to these permissions when I install apps on my smartphone.

How do you make money?
I don't. I initially developed Drinklytics to learn how to build an app, starting with a focus on being my personal wine tasting journal. As I built it out, I expanded it to include beer tasting journal and spirits. Now, I'm excited to share it with everyone!
