The app comprises of three broad aspects: hire the best freelancers, collaborate with team members and crowdsource for funds or appraisals.
The collaboration aspect is more like a social networking environment, with different channels, groups and teams, both for project executors and employers. Managers can hire freelancers immediately from the common room from creatives' profile page. Project teams and e-companies can be created and different users invited to join. There is also the project management feature with Kanban and Ghantt charts to help manage projects among teams, using live videos and audios for meetings, etc.
Project managers can also visualize data records and analyze with various data tools on the app. With this visualization feature, potential investor can take insight into an e-compnay project and make decision to invest. Users will also be able to raise funding for any startup that meets a criteria, while Gigg would be a custodian of the revenues generated by the startup as a way of security for the investors.
So far only the hiring aspect of the app is completed in the Android version, while we are underway with the web and iOS versions as well as develop every other aspect of the app.
