Jules Verne, born February 8, 1828 in Nantes and died March 24, 1905 in Amiens, is a French writer whose work is, for the most part, made up of adventure novels evoking the scientific progress of the 19th century.
After obtaining his baccalaureates in letters and law, Jules Verne continued his law studies in Paris.
