In order to gain access to all functions of the Juniti app as a user, you must register in an existing community. In the first step you can register as a “young person”, “legal guardian” or “moderator”. Then select a community you know that you would like to join.

Your request to join will be reviewed by those responsible for the community. As long as your request is open, you only have guest access and cannot use important functions of the app (including chat area, user profiles and search function).

If the people responsible for a community don't know you, your request may not be confirmed. The best thing to do is to contact those responsible personally. These can be, for example, educators in a youth club, school social workers in a school or educators in an institution to which the community belongs. You can usually find the contact details online.


What can Juniti do:

• News and events: On the homepage you will find all the news and events from your community. You can share events, like them and accept or cancel your participation. As a moderator, you can use numerous options to plan events, create an accompanying chat, export participant lists and much more.

• Personal profile: Design your individual profile with avatars, quizzes and stickers. You can share your contact details and social media accounts to get in touch with other users outside of the app. Moderators can prevent the sharing of social media links, store information about working hours and availability, and much more.

• Chat area: Here you can find all your chat groups and join all chats in your community that are not private. If you have any questions or problems, you can contact moderators personally, anonymously if you wish. Are you looking for specific content? In the chat overview you can access all shared content and all highlighted messages with one click. Moderators can decide whether sharing images and files and creating polls in the chat are allowed.

• Global search function: Are you looking for a chat message or chat, a specific news or event, a local help offer or a friend's profile page? With the global search function you can quickly and clearly find people, information and news from your community.

• Our network: Would you like to know what advice and help services or leisure and cultural facilities are available in your region? Each community can invite facilities and offers to present themselves in the app. In the community network you can see opening times, contact persons, contact details and much more at a glance and can navigate to the relevant location with one click. An annual query of the facilities and offers ensures that all information stored remains up to date.
