Ile Ase Ifatokun located in Rio de Janeiro is a temple that promotes the cult of Orunmilá/Ifá and Ọrìṣá to Brazil and is headed by Bábálawo Ifátokun.
Initiated in the cult of Ọrìṣá in Brazil in 1991, Bábálawo Ifátokun gave rise to his spiritual journey in Candomblé at the age of 16 where after a few years he started in the Cult of Egungun becoming Ojé.
Our purpose is to take the word and the teachings of Ifá to all human beings, based on orality and writing and bringing the study brought by the verses of Ifá, with the concern with the ethical, moral and religious dignity rescue, the elucidation of the human law, the dissemination of spiritual doctrine, studies and research on religions of African origin, the preservation of the cultural heritage of blacks, concern for children, men and women, the physically and mentally handicapped, the constant struggle against the religious trade , for religious tolerance, for the union of religions, for the improvement of the human mass, for the practice of good, for the promotion of ethics, peace, citizenship, human rights, democracy and other universal values, preservation and conservation of the environment and promotion of sustainable development, among other purposes.
