In this app, both the Pashto and the English words have audio enabled so that the user can relate the spoken words with each other and comprehend the English pronunciation. This app uses a question-answer format in order to reinforce relations between words. The words are grouped together in various categories.

This app is a result of my experiences while volunteering as a high school student with the Global Impact Initiative organization to help Afghani refugee students assimilate into the American school system.

Muhammad Khan, a student at the University of Texas at Austin, has provided all of the Pashto audio files for this app. He volunteers with the UT Refugee Mentorship Program and Austin Partners in Education to help Afghan refugee students learn English.
