This app is designed to introduce you to the language spoken by approximately 70 to 80% of Taiwan's population. "Taiwanese", "Taiwanian" or "Taigi" or "Taiwanese Hokkien" or "Minnan" is a southern Chinese language spoken – along with some minority languages and Taiwanese Mandarin – on the island of Taiwan.
The dictionary can be used in German, English and Mandarin. The Taiwanese pronunciation is rendered in the two most common transcription systems. Audio output is being planned for the full version.
An internet connection is required to use the dictionary, as the content is stored externally.
