Law 5 of 1992 of Colombia, describes the Regulations of the Colombian Congress.

The Congress of the Republic of Colombia represents the Legislative Branch of the Colombian state, and is made up of the Senate and the House of Representatives. Its members represent the people, and must act in consultation with justice and the common good. They are, therefore, responsible to society and to their constituents for the fulfillment of the obligations of their investiture. It defines the legislative and administrative functions that govern the conduct of these two legislative chambers.
