Don't get it red hot!
Use this timer to get more consistency in your dabs. We suggest Quartz bangers but this will aid regardless of your setup.
Two options:
1) 30 second heat up, 30 second cool down
2) 45 second heat up, 1 minute cool down

There's even an option for hands-free use! you can start the timer while holding your rig, and a torch, dab tool, snacks, and whatever else you can fit in your hands :)
