Dyslexics need special help when learning to spell. It often happens that they mix up or omit letters and also that they have problems reading aloud.

I am an app developer and have a preliminary diploma in education from the Johann Wolfgang Goethe University. I developed this app especially for children of primary school age.
There are two screens in the app, besides the home screen. On one screen, children practice writing a word or letter by realistically writing a word on a painting surface using a tablet pen. There is a picture with the word behind it. The painting surface can be erased and erased with the eraser.

The second screen contains pronunciation training in which the children can hear and repeat words from the child-friendly basic vocabulary. It is important that both writing and listening skills are trained.

The app contains part of the basic vocabulary of the first and second grades. It is tailored to the needs of children between the ages of six and nine.

The operation of the app is explained in simple terms under the functions. The “graphotherapy app” also contains detailed information for parents that gives tips on how you can optimally help shape and support your child’s writing movement training.
