Suffrage: word that derives from the Latin verb suffragari which means: to help, to support, to help. In various ways the Church teaches us that we can support the souls of our dearly departed: with the celebration of Holy Masses, with the merits we acquire by carrying out works of charity, with the application of indulgences. We ask the Lord to forgive them for all the evil they have committed and to welcome them into his Kingdom of peace and justice.
