CHES:UMH
Digital patient survey for patient-centered medicine at the UMH
The CHES:UMH app (Computer-based Health Evaluation System (CHES)) was developed by Evaluation Software Development GmbH (ESD) in cooperation with the University Medical Center Halle (Saale) (UMH) and is used to document subjective patient data and/or other medical information as part of studies at the UMH. Using the app, patients can access specific information about their illness, complete questionnaires from home, and use additional tools such as a chat function with the treatment team, a video consultation, or a medication plan to complement their in-patient treatment. This enables the treatment team to collect and evaluate valuable patient information for individualized treatment and to ensure personalized care even outside of the hospital stay.
The target group of this app is UMH patients who have been integrated into the CHES application by the respective project team during their treatment. Project-specific instructions for using CHES are provided by the respective project staff.
Data Protection and Security
The protection of personal health data is our highest priority. The collection and processing of personal health data is carried out in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The collected data is only accessible to the healthcare team involved in the respective project, enabling patients to supplement their treatment based on the health data they have provided. The app does not replace medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment and is not suitable for use in emergencies.
Support
If patients have any questions or problems using the app, the respective project team is available to support them at any time.
