DG No 179 "Sinchets" was established in the distant 1966 as a departmental kindergarten at the Vorshilov factory. For many years after democracy, there was a weekly kindergarten No 79, which since 2009 has been a full-day kindergarten in support of people working in the capital. In 2010, kindergarten No 79 was transformed into kindergarten No 179 - with two nurseries, four garden groups and a new two-storey wing with four more contemporary groups. From 01.08.2016 with the entry into force of the New Law on Pre-school and School Education / PSET / Decision of the Municipal Council and Order of the Mayor of Sofia Municipality - Yordanka Fandakova ODZ No 179 "Sinchets" is renamed in State Gazette No. 179 "Sinchets" .
