Local check without retrieving personal data from the Internet
- When checking the QR code, the information contained in the QR code is only displayed on the verifying device.
- The relevant information is contained directly in the QR code and is not retrieved from a database.
- The app connects to the Internet during the start-up process to check the availability of new certificates. These certificates are needed for the correct and secure verification of the QR code. If new certificates are available, the app automatically downloads them to the device being used. Furthermore, the app does not connect to the Internet at any time. No personal data is retrieved from the Internet or uploaded to the Internet.
