With the "eID Check" app, you can easily and securely check digital driver's licenses and proof of age. Simply scan the QR code that your counterpart shows and you will receive all the necessary information on your device.

How it works:
1. Download the “eAusweis Check” app for free. It can be used without logging in or registering.
2. Allow the app to access the camera and bluetooth.
3. Choose which certificate or proof you would like to check.
4. Your counterpart shows the digital ID or proof using the "eID" app in the form of a QR code. Scan this with the “eAusweis Check” app: This will show you the current data directly on your smartphone. Thanks to the link to ID Austria, the digital ID cards are forgery-proof.

No registration in the app is required.
The Android operating system requires location approval in order for Bluetooth to work. Your location data will not be saved or processed by the “eAusweis Check” app.

The app is constantly being further developed and will be supplemented with new certificates and certificates in the future.
