The PCE EVcharge app connects your wallbox to the PV system using the PCE GATEWAY energy manager and optimizes your own consumption.

Plug and charge
As soon as a vehicle is connected to the wallbox, the app sends a push notification. The charging target can then be set using 3 simple rotary controls:
• Controller 1: How 'full' is the car right now? (State of Charge in %)
• Controller 2: How 'full' should the car be? (Target State of Charge in %)
• Controller 3: When do I need the vehicle again? (Time)
An optimal charging profile is automatically calculated - the charging goal is achieved in any case.

Why PV surplus charging?
• The feed-in tariff is unattractive in most countries.
• The economic efficiency of a PV system increases significantly with your own consumption. After all, there are no network fees, taxes or other charges for “homemade” electricity.
• By charging PV surpluses, you increase the level of self-sufficiency and save energy costs.
• With “homemade” electricity, it is guaranteed that the car will be charged with green electricity.

• Enables all the advantages of PV surplus charging or energy management in your own home
• Decide independently whether energy from your own PV system is used or whether energy is purchased from a dynamic green energy provider (e.g. aWATTar).
• allows the digitization of systems that do not have a cloud interface
• does not store any data in the cloud (privacy by design)
• Reduces carbon footprint

Integrated dynamic load management
Distributing the available power across all charging points is known as load or charging management. Even if you operate more than one wallbox at the same time, you can rest assured that the maximum connection power will not be exceeded. Depending on the target load selected, the loads are even adjusted dynamically.

Remote maintenance
If problems arise, PC Electric support can analyze the error remotely and correct it if necessary.
