The waste voucher scanner app is designed to scan and redeem vouchers presented by residents, to enable free delivery of waste and green waste, at a Council landfill.

The scanner app identifies if a presented voucher has already been used or has expired, and informs the operator.

Using the camera on the phone, the scanner app captures the information in the barcode on the waste voucher.

The scanner app allows the operator to redeem vouchers manually.

Data captured enables Council to track voucher usage for subsequent reporting and analysis.
